The Galaxy Fight Club (GFC) is not another platform to develop avatars. It is a real-time player versus player game (PvP) designed to combine different NFT versions in a single platform.

This means that gamers sign in with their NFTs and battle with them in the game. Many players that have played the fun and popular Super Smash Bros would tell you that the fun part is to play with different players and characters from different regions. You may come across a Mario fighting with a Pikachu. Galaxy Fight Club offers similar adaptability. In the Galaxy Fight Club games, you can come across a Cool Cat fighting with a Cryptopunk or a Bull from “Bulls on the Block” battling with an Ape from BAYC.

A core attribute of the GFC Metaverse is the wide interlinkages of various digital items and even NFT assets. This means that you can use your Counter-Strike’ gun skin for a gun you use in Fortnite

Extraordinary Interlinkages

This unprecedented level of interlinkage between data, NFTs, digital assets, and content means that the traditional boundaries that we are used to expecting are now eliminated. Your Counter-Strike gun skin can be used on a gun you use in Fortnite, and you can gift it to a friend on Facebook.

In the same way, a car designed for use on a company’s ad campaign may be used in Roblox. With growing platforms where indigenous cryptos, ID cards, and other stuff are required, the feeling of being limited to a single platform and difficulties in switching around restricts players and users.

With little collaborative effort going on at present, there is isolation between different platforms and collections, making it difficult to interact. This is a restriction that is affecting growth and usage increase. The Galaxy Fight Club is trying to bypass this problem by offering a platform where existing NFT collections can be used and created. This means that their owners can reuse avatar collections like Cryptopunks and the BAYC in different settings.

Galaxy Fight Club’s Mission

The Galaxy Fight Club’s team believes that the interoperability of digital assets in a purposeful way is important for creating a durable and effective NFT ecosystem. The GFC team aims to build a cross-IP gaming platform for NFT users where IPs from diverse collections can connect and play together in a meaningful way.

To design a fun and engaging game to play, where players can fight with the NFTs of their choice and earn enough to make a living through play to earn systems.

Galaxy Fight Club’s Team

The majority of the GFC core team has initial exposure in the traditional gaming industry. Most of the team members are spread all over Asia. In the list below, the main team members are listed. Those not on the list are hired to support or work voluntarily.

Game Designer

Dan Le came on as a full-time Lead Game Designer after launch. He has been with the gaming industry since 2016. Dan was the main game designer for the Samurai Showdown, and he was also in the team that developed Metal Wings, GunPow 3D, AU Mobi.

Dan is not fluent in English, but that doesn’t affect his game creating skills. He works with a team of 3 full-time game developers.

Marketing & Partnership

Ado has a strategy consulting background in various industries, including financial services and tech. He has recently been affiliated with a large gaming business. Ado has a deep understanding and connections with emerging trends in the gaming industry. He handles most activities for the business and marketing of Galaxy Fight Club.

Lead Web3 Dev

Dave is a smart contract / web3 software engineer. He had a role in a smart contract development agency and exposure to working closely with smart contracts. He has also worked with Blockchain technology for over two years.

Along with Dave, Malcolm will also be acting as an advisor. Malcolm is a full-stack web3 engineer. He had experience working with trading finance systems (TradFi) before switching to crypto in 2016. He has been working on the Ethereum ecosystem using Golang and TypeScript.

Artists

The lead artist for GFC is Don. Don is an award-winning digital art/designer with a degree in Fine Arts and many experiences in Multimedia Arts and Design. Ray’s expertise lies in Illustration, Cartoon, Comic Art, and Caricature.

Animation

Angel is another award winning team member with several local awards. He will be working on the animation side of the projection of the game.

Partners

Our official partner projects are CyberKongz, illuvium, Deadheads, Animetas, Wicked Craniums, BOTB, BYOPill, Alien Boy.

The GFC will focus on adding any avatar collection it decides. All major projects will become part of the game, provided that the NFT rights are with the owner and not the collection.

On joining the game and agreeing to the terms of use, the NFT owners permit GFC to create derivative work based on their collection.

Since the whole purpose of NFTs is based on ownership of the asset, the Galaxy Flight Club members believe in allowing their members to decide what happens to their assets. If a player is not happy with having their avatars used as inspiration for further development, they can decide not to play the game. They can also play the game but not use their avatars used in the game. GFC will never use the avatars in their game if this is done.

This is a beneficial relationship for GF and its users, as the projects get a projection on the GFC platform. At the same time, they provide inspiration to the GF designers and animators to add more depth to their platform.

Participation

Anyone can become a participant in the Galaxy Fight Club even if they do not have access to an avatar or an NFT based avatar. Such players get a default fighter with basic stats and a tier-one weapon. If a user has a partner project’s avatar, they can use those as their own. For example, if a player has a Genesis Galaxy Fighter, they can also play with that. The only difference avatars make for players is in the loot and rewards they earn in their winnings.

Free to Play

Free to play (F2P) players don’t have any NFTs of their own. Such players can also play and earn inside our game. F2P plays the game with a default base character, and if they win matches, they can win Silver Keys.

Silver Keys can be traded directly on the marketplace like any NFT for $ETH. They can also be used to open loot boxes with $GCOIN. this allows players to earn loot that can end up being worth more than the keys

Game Modes

3v3 Main game mode

The 3v3 mode lets users play as an existing team or match up with others to play the game. Players can play in this mode as a Galaxy Fighter, an avatar from another collection, or a free-to-play player without any avatar. The game will not be impacted by what type of player is playing the game. The only impact would be the loot box keys received as rewards after a round.

Tournaments

All team tournaments are in the 3V3 format, and the only difference is that you must enter the tournament with an existing team. People usually find their potential teammates on the discord channel, and many also use their friends and family interested in playing. Galaxy fighters are the only players that can enter into tournaments provided they are Genesis or second generation.

A match ends once a team has a score of 20 points. The winning teams continue to progress through the tournament up to the final. the tournament winner gets a $ETH prize, to be shared between the three team members

1v1

This is the classic deathmatch, which ends once a player has 10 points. This form does not have any rewards.

Battle Royale

Ten players enter the same arena in this mode, and the last player surviving wins the battle.

A death ring appears during the fight and starts to shrink the arena to add a further challenge for the fighters.

Mechanics of the PvP Game

As a real-time PvP game, it will be a 3D casual style game somewhat like Brawl Stars. Players will be able to participate in range or melee type attacks. This depends on the weapons selected and a movement system that lets players move all around and engage with objects spread over the map.

Battle Arenas

The game is situated in 2049, and the first battle arena it’s set in a punk-themed high-rise buildings rooftop. Other arenas would be based in space, a jungle, and others.

Fighter Strength

Fighter strength is based on 50% race and clothes, and the other 50% on the weapon. These three determine the strength of the fighter. Special features like laser eyes, helmets, and armor pieces help increase the fighter’s strength and efficacy. As a rule of thumb, the stats of armor, weapon, or race are closely linked with reality. Any rare element will be stronger than one that is common.

These three elements together make up the total strength of your fighter. Other traits in a fighter can also add bonus points to their overall strength. For example, fighters with laser eyes increase their attack power, and helmets have increased defense. Matching armor pieces will also add bonus points, for example, plasma armor with a plasma helmet. As a general rule, the stats of a race, armor, or weapon is closely related to their rarity, which means a rare race with a rare weapon will almost always be stronger than one that is more common.

Leveling System

The game has a leveling system based on experience points. These points can be obtained by playing regularly and accumulating regardless of wins or losses. Losses do get fewer points compared to wins, though.

Leveling up helps improve a player’s chance of getting rare loot from the game. Both experience points and levels are linked to an NFT, which means that if you sell your NFT, its experience and level will be transferred to the new owner of the NFT. This link to NFT is done to allow for play to earn features. Players can buy untrained, low ranked fighters, train and upskill them and sell them for a higher value to earn and create value in the game for the NFT.

Ranking

Ranking places players into various ranks according to the wins they get from a match. Players get trophies when they win a match and lose them when they lose a match. The purpose of the ranking system is to support game matchmaking. Having ranks allows the game to match players on a closer or same level. The ranks allow players to get better loot and are also used as entry prerequisites for special tournaments. For example, the top 10 ranked players on a level may be eligible to enter a Battle Royale tournament.

Fighters

Fighters are the base of the Galaxy Fight Club, and it is focused on including as many PFP collections in the game as possible. This allows for the userbase to keep on increasing.

Userbase and monthly active users (MAU) are key metrics for a game that should increase over time. The GFC system seems well set to achieve this while ensuring that value to Galaxy Fighters also increases.

Weapons

Weapons are designed to be scarce in the game, and demand will always be more than the supply.

Weapons are a key resource inside the game and are designed to be in short demand. This makes weapons hard to get and a very valuable resource.

Play To Earn

The basic way to earn from the game is by getting loot boxes through key drops when players win games. Most games have three different key types, and they all have a daily limit. These keys can be used with $GCOIN to access loot boxes to get various items. They can also be sold in the secondary market as independent NFTs.

If a player does not have an NFT based avatar, they get a default fighter with base stats and a default base tier weapon. All players can win loot box keys on playing the game regardless of their avatar. Different types of loot box keys are won depending on the avatar you use.
